This baked Mac and Cheese is closer to a casserole — a hearty, cheesy pasta bake that is soft and creamy on the inside with a golden, slightly crispy top. Comfort food at its best
500 g pasta (I used shells)
50 g butter
3 eggs
1/2 cup sour cream (120 ml)
1.5 cups milk (360 ml)
200 g marble cheese
salt to taste
Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente
Drain the water, add butter and 150 g of the cheese, and mix
In a separate bowl, lightly whisk the eggs with sour cream, add milk, and season with salt
Combine everything and transfer to a baking dish
Sprinkle with the remaining cheese
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 30 minutes
