I’ve baked chocolate brownies so many times using different variations, and they have never let me down. With just a handful of ingredients mixed together, your kitchen fills with the most irresistible chocolate aroma in only 30 minutes. Tender, light, slightly chewy, soft, and deeply chocolatey… this recipe is everything a perfect brownie should be
1 cup butter (225 g)
3/4 cup sugar (190 g)
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup flour (125 g)
1 tsp baking powder
1/3 cup cocoa powder (40 g)
1/2 cup chocolate chips
(or grated chocolate)
Melt the butter, add the sugar, and stir until the sugar begins to dissolve
Add the lightly beaten eggs and vanilla, mixing until smooth
In a separate bowl, combine all the dry ingredients
Add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients and mix just until combined
Fold in the chocolate chips
Pour the batter into a prepared baking pan
Bake in a preheated 180°C (350°F) oven for 30 minutes
If you want to make these brownies even more decadent, add a silky chocolate ganache on top.
Ganache Ingredients
1/3 cup heavy cream 35% (80 ml)
100 g chocolate
Ganache Instructions
Bring the cream just to a boil, then remove from heat.
Add the chocolate and stir until fully melted and smooth.
Pour the ganache over the cooled brownies.
You can serve them right away, cut into portions, but if you let them sit for a couple of hours, the ganache will thicken and become even more delicious
