Oznei Haman are traditional cookies for the Jewish holiday of Purim, which celebrates the salvation of the Jewish people from destruction in Persia. These cookies have a distinctive triangular shape that symbolizes “Haman’s ears.” Traditionally, they are made with different fillings, with the most popular options being jam, poppy seed filling with nuts, date paste, or chocolate chips. Here you can find the recipe for a chocolate version.
