Tender salmon fillets come together very quickly, and when served with a delicious creamy sauce flavored with garlic, mustard, and honey, this dish is elegant enough to serve at a festive dinner
Ingredients
Salmon fillet (half a fillet)
Salt, pepper, garlic powder
Vegetable oil for frying
For the Sauce
30 g butter
3 garlic cloves
1 cup broth (240 ml)
3/4 cup 35% cream (180 ml)
1 tbsp Honey Dijon mustard
1 tsp honey
Salt
A few sprigs of dill
Steps
Cut the salmon into serving-size pieces, season with salt and pepper, and sprinkle with garlic powder
Fry the salmon in a skillet with a small amount of vegetable oil for 3–4 minutes on each side
Sauce
Melt the butter in the same skillet, add finely chopped garlic, and cook, stirring, for 1 minute
Add the hot broth, cream, mustard, and honey, and stir to combine
Simmer the sauce over low heat for 5 minutes, until slightly thickened
Add finely chopped dill
Return the salmon to the sauce
