There is something special about homemade strawberry jam — the aroma of fresh strawberries, sweet syrup, and little berries that capture the taste of summer. It’s especially enjoyable to make it when strawberries are fresh, fragrant, and plentiful, so you can preserve a little taste of summer for later
Ingredients
1 kg strawberries (small berries)
1 kg sugar
Steps
Wash the strawberries and remove the stems
Cover the strawberries with sugar, shake the bowl gently a few times, and leave overnight. During this time, the strawberries will release their juice
Cook the jam over low heat for 1 hour, skimming off the foam with a wooden spoon
Remove from the heat, pour into glass jars, and store in the refrigerator
