I absolutely love all kinds of spices, herbs, and seasonings. I have quite a collection in my kitchen and also use a variety of spice blends. The most popular one is probably my pilaf spice blend. Here I showed you how to make a Cajun spice blend for chicken. Today, I have a homemade spice blend for fish. It also works wonderfully with other seafood. So, simply mix the spices together, transfer the blend to a jar, and use it whenever you cook
Ingredients
Salmon (I had a 600 g piece)
1 tbsp vegetable oil
For the Fish Spice Blend
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp paprika (I mix smoked and sweet paprika)
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tsp cumin
Steps
Cut the salmon into pieces and pat dry with a paper towel
Mix the spices together
Mix 1 tbsp of the spice blend with 1 tbsp of vegetable oil and brush the mixture over the salmon pieces
I cook the salmon in the air fryer for 15 minutes
You can also pan-fry it or bake it in the oven
Store the remaining spice blend in a sealed jar
