I don’t know about you, but in our family we only eat chicken wings fresh, straight out of the oven. The next day they are just not the same.
That’s why I always keep a few bags of wings in the freezer. Take out a pack, defrost it, turn on the oven — and you’re ready to go
1/2 kg (1 lb) chicken wings
salt, pepper to taste
2 tbsp BBQ sauce
2 tbsp honey
Season the wings with salt and pepper
Bake in a preheated 190°C (375°F) oven for 20–30 minutes until cooked, turning once halfway through
(I bake the wings on parchment paper without adding any oil)
In a saucepan, warm up the BBQ sauce and honey
Add the cooked wings and toss over low heat for 1 minute — during this time the sauce slightly thickens and coats the wings well
