¡Hola Amigos! Today I’m going to show you and tell you about our vacation in Mexico. As I’ve said many times before, we absolutely love Mexico and prefer it to the other Caribbean destinations available to us. This was our second time staying at the Grand Palladium Riviera Resort, and we certainly didn’t regret coming back. I consider it the best of all the Mexican resorts we’ve stayed at
I’ll start my report with the breathtaking nature. It’s the Mexican jungle that draws us back to our favourite places again and again
The resort is home to an oasis of flamingos, while Mexican “dragons” — iguanas — casually roam the pathways
These little animals are called coatis, or Mexican coatis. They behave just like cats, wandering around everywhere and occasionally trying to steal food left on your plate
The resort consists of four large complexes. Guests are free to spend time and eat at any of them.
Speaking of eating… We always try not to overeat, but this time it was incredibly difficult. There was such a huge variety of food, and everything was so delicious that it was simply impossible not to have a bite, a taste, a snack, or just try something.
There are bars everywhere, and the kids didn’t miss a single one!))) Their all-time favourite drink remains the piña colada
And here is the kids’ favourite place — the pools. There are so many of them! I don’t know what they use to keep them clean, but there’s absolutely no smell of chlorine. The water is crystal clear, warm, and very pleasant. There were also slides for the little ones
Surprisingly, the sea was calm this time
For my birthday, we planned to visit one of the most beautiful eco-parks, Xcaret. But although there’s no such thing as bad weather when it comes to nature, the rain changed our plans, and instead of exploring the park, we had a little photoshoot
The next day, the rain still wouldn’t let up, but my husband and older son decided to brave it and visit Xcaret after all. It didn’t make quite the impression they had expected, most likely because of the rain. They explored every corner of the park, saw many tropical animals, and in the evening enjoyed a spectacular show
Our all-time favourite eco-park in Mexico remains Xplor. We visited it several years ago, and unfortunately, I don’t have a photo report from that trip. But for anyone who loves active adventures, I highly recommend visiting this incredible place if you ever get the chance.
My husband also made a little photo trip to the pyramids of Tulum
The resort had a great kids’ club, but this time our youngest didn’t spend as much time there. However, she faithfully took part in the musical shows every evening
The kids’ show usually transitioned into the evening show, followed by a late-night show for adults and then dancing at the club. We found two clubs for the teenagers, although there may have been more. My kids are big fans of billiards.
We also played our favourite game, Jenga, which we first discovered in Mexico many years ago, even though it’s sold in pretty much every game store back home
Once again, I’m convinced that staying at a large resort really is the better choice. There’s always something to suit everyone’s taste, and whenever you want some peace and quiet, you can simply find a quiet spot and relax
Despite the rainy days, we all had a wonderful time and truly enjoyed our vacation. And to say goodbye — a cup of cappuccino, which was how I started and ended every day
