This simple dessert combines sweet prunes, crunchy walnuts, and a light, creamy sour cream filling. It is easy to prepare, requires just a few ingredients, and makes a delicious individual dessert that can be dressed up with fresh berries, chocolate, and extra nuts
If the prunes are dry, soak them in boiling water for 5–10 minutes beforehand
For extra flavor, lightly toast the walnuts in a dry skillet before using
Ingredients (makes 12 small servings)
18 prunes
50 g shelled walnuts
500 ml sour cream (14%)
1/4 cup heavy cream (35%) (60 ml)
1/3 cup powdered sugar (40 g)
Grated chocolate and chopped walnuts, for decoration
Steps
Beat the sour cream, heavy cream, and powdered sugar together with a mixer until smooth and creamy
Make a small slit in each prune, stuff it with a piece of walnut, then cut it in half
Divide the sour cream mixture among 12 small glasses and add 3 pieces of stuffed prune to each
Decorate with chopped walnuts, grated chocolate, and any fresh berries you like
