Bottom Layer
1 cup sour cream (240 ml)
1/3 cup milk (80 ml)
15 g cocoa powder
1/4 cup sugar (60 g)
7 g gelatin + 1/4 cup water (60 ml)
Middle Layer
1 cup sour cream (240 ml)
1/3 cup milk (80 ml)
5 g cocoa powder
1/4 cup sugar (60 g)
7 g gelatin + 1/4 cup water (60 ml)
Top Layer
1 cup sour cream (240 ml)
1/3 cup milk (80 ml)
1/4 cup sugar (60 g)
7 g gelatin + 1/4 cup water (60 ml)
Melted chocolate for decoration (optional)
Bottom Layer
Sprinkle the gelatin over the water and stir. Let it sit for a few minutes until it thickens
In a bowl, whisk together the sour cream, milk, cocoa powder, and sugar until smooth
Heat the gelatin in the microwave until fully liquid
Add the gelatin to the sour cream mixture and whisk well
Pour the mixture into the pan and refrigerate until set, about 30 minutes
Middle & Top Layers
Prepare the middle layer in exactly the same way, using the reduced cocoa amount. Once the bottom layer is set, gently pour the middle layer on top and chill again
Repeat the same process for the top vanilla layer
Finish
Once fully set, decorate the cake with melted chocolate if desired
